International Superyacht Alliance Celebrates a Successful Week at the Newport Yacht Charter Show

The Newport Charter Yacht Show once again proved why it remains one of the premier events in the global superyacht industry, bringing together yacht owners, captains, charter professionals, brokers, suppliers, shipyards, and marine service providers from around the world.

Throughout the week, the International Superyacht Alliance (ISA) was actively engaged in meetings, networking events, educational opportunities, and industry discussions, continuing its mission of strengthening relationships between the U.S. marine industry and emerging international markets.

Kitty McGowan, President of ISA, spent the week meeting with industry leaders, members, and prospective partners to discuss new initiatives, membership opportunities, and collaborative strategies designed to expand business opportunities across the global superyacht community.

One of the week’s highlights was Kitty’s participation as a judge for the Best Charter Yacht Chef Competition. The talent and incredible presentations were the best I and truly challenged the judges to choose the best! The chefs were blessed with incredible ingredients, courtesy of Winnie Decoster and show sponsor, National Marine Suppliers who supplied the freshest and amazing ingredients for them to work with.   It was a week filled with great conversations, new ideas, and wonderful friendships – and of course the Yacht Hop never ceases to be a special spotlight of the Show.

The week concluded with ISA’s Newport Networking Soirée, bringing together professionals from across the industry for an afternoon of networking, collaboration, and relationship building. The event reflected ISA’s core belief that meaningful connections create lasting partnerships and drive industry growth.

ISA extends its sincere appreciation to Hornblower Marine and Propspeed for sponsoring the Newport Networking Soirée and supporting opportunities that bring the industry together.

A special thank you also goes to Veronica Brown, the Safe Harbor Newport Shipyard team, and everyone involved in producing another outstanding Newport Yacht Charter Show.

As ISA continues to grow, the relationships built in Newport reinforce the organization’s commitment to creating opportunities for collaboration, expanding global connections, and supporting the continued success of the international superyacht industry.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year as we continue making waves together.
